The 2nd Singapore-Duke Anaesthesia Update 2010 is the second edition of an international meeting that brings together faculty from Singapore and Duke University, USA. The meeting will focus on the tangible therapeutic strategies and equipment that we as a specialty can adopt, not only to bring our patients safely through anaesthesia and surgery but also to give them the best chance of long-term event-free survival.
In addition, we are introducing a resident track to give our aspiring juniors a solid footing in our specialty. Included in this track is a special symposium on training and work opportunities in Singapore and the United States. This is an excellent opportunity to discuss the options available for your career advancement with our Faculty. Also, there will be several interesting workshops, updating participants on the latest in regional anaesthesia, airway management, 3D echocardiography, and hyperbaric medicine therapy.
